Nadine Lustre and her family are currently going through a difficult time after her younger brother, Isaiah passed away.
She is now on a vacation in Japan with her family and boyfriend James Reid, and it is a way for them to temporarily ease the grief that her family is feeling.
In a recent interview with PEP, Nadine was asked if she is now feeling okay after her brother’s death, and she answered, “Medyo ano pa, nasa moving on, nasa healing stage. Siyempre, hindi naman ganun kadali ang mag-move on.”
She also added that she sees her family more now, “Bonding, celebrate ng mga birthday… kasama rin nga namin sila sa Japan.”
Nadine is very grateful for James because he was by her side when she was grieving for the loss of her brother. “I’m so thankful for him na, kahit noong bago pa lang, na ang emosyon ko ay ang hirap… Yung emotions ko, hindi ko ma-control. Siyempre, kahit yung pag-iisip ko… sobrang stressful. So, happy ako nandiyan siya at hindi rin napapagod na magsuporta sa akin,” she stated.
And she thanked her fans for the continuous support that they give, “Gusto kong magpasalamat sa lahat ng suporta niyo. And then, yung nakiramay kayo sa akin. Yung mga nag-message sa akin. Sana maging happy team pa rin kami kahit hindi nila kami madalas makita (ngayon).”
Finally, Nadine admitted that she wants to take a break from work after what happened to her family, “Parang, huwag muna. Pero very thankful po ako dahil pumayag naman ang It’s Showtime after ng ‘Magpapasikat’ segment. Hindi na nila in-expect na ‘Magpapasikat’ pa ako. Pero siyempre, sabi ko, ‘The show must go on.’ At saka, ayaw ko din namang iwan sina Ate Anne [Curtis]. Kumbaga, suporta talaga.”
