“The Voice Teens” is a reality singing competition in ABS-CBN, which gives an opportunity for young singers to showcase their amazing voices.
The show’s grand finals was held last Sunday, July 30, 2017, and Jona Soquite, from Sarah Geronimo’s team, was hailed as the first ever grand champion of “The Voice Teens” in all of Asia.
She is only 14 years old, but she was able to stand up against the other contestants. In an interview with PEP, Jona was crying tears of joy, and she thanked her supporters saying, “Nagpapasalamat po ako sa mga naniwala at sumuporta sa akin.”
The young singer admitted that she didn’t expect that a lot of viewers would vote for her,
Jona won P1 million in cash, P1 million worth of trust fund, P2 million worth of insurance plan, a business package, a dental package, a fashion package, and a house and lot, which she revealed is the most important for her saying,
